We’ve got a fresh update for you today. Version 5.8.0 is all about smoothing out the edges. We’ve focused on making your daily interactions with Identifee feel more intuitive, while doing some heavy lifting in the background to keep the platform fast and reliable.
Here’s the scoop on what’s new and improved!
🎨 A Polished Look & Feel
We want Identifee to feel as good as it functions. We’ve made several tweaks to the interface to make your navigation easier.
Clearer Clicks: Ever hover over a link and wonder if it’s actually clickable? We fixed that. Now, your mouse cursor will clearly change to a "hand" icon whenever you hover over a link. Simple, but helpful!
Who’s Who? We noticed some profile icons were missing initials in the Contacts section. We’ve fixed that, so now you can identify your team members and contacts at a glance.
Cleaner Tables: We tidied up the borders and text sizes in our search fields and columns. It’s a subtle change, but it makes reading data much easier on the eyes.
🤖 Your Assistant Got Smarter
Your digital helper is evolving to serve you better.
A Modern Chat Experience: We’ve updated the Assistant’s look! The welcome screen, chat history, and the way questions load have all been refreshed to feel snappier and more modern.
Reading Between the Lines (Literally): We’ve added OCR (Optical Character Recognition) support for Engagement PDFs.
What this means for you: The Assistant can now "read" text inside PDF reports much better. It’s like giving your assistant a pair of reading glasses so they can pull specific details out of documents for you instantly.
🐞 Squashing Bugs
We know that little glitches can be big distractions. Here are a few annoyances we’ve cleared up:
Stay Logged In (For Real): Fixed a frustrating issue where the system would log you out even if you clicked "Stay Logged In." Your session should now stay active as requested.
Nacha Code Expert: The Nacha Agent was being a little shy about certain codes (like R31). We’ve retrained it, and it’s now ready to answer questions about those specific banking codes.
Checkbox Logic: We fixed the "Only companies" checkbox, which was accidentally working in reverse (showing you everything except companies). It now filters exactly how you’d expect.
Feedback Loop: When you gave positive or negative feedback in conversation logs, it wasn't always registering in our analytics. We’ve fixed the wiring so your feedback is properly counted—we hear you loud and clear!

Engine Tune-Up: We’ve upgraded several core components of our infrastructure. Think of this like getting an oil change and a tune-up for your car—it keeps everything running reliably and sets us up for cool new features in the future.
